The progress：
On June 21, 2017, we got the inquiry of crane wheels from our new client in Greece. This client is one professional manufacturer of cranes, so these wheels are used to be equipped with the overhead cranes.
The client can not provide the drawing for us, at first we provide two type of our wheels for customer's reference. Based on some information provided by the customer. As below:
- Drive D630 (or equivalent) for rail A120 with max wheel static load 600kN – PC 2
- Idle D630 (or equivalent) for rail A120 with max wheel static load 600kN – PC 2
Through further communication. We got to know the wheel loads to be 600 KN to 620 KN (max) while minimum load is 235 KN and the Rail is A120 St-70. And this will be a service crane so travel duty is max Fem M4 at speed 25 m/min. There is no specification for wheel material so we can propose as long it can withstand 600 KN.
Then we select two types of wheels for our customers. The photos as below:
Type1: Standard type of wheel sets (angle box type)
Type2: Circular box type of wheel sets
Type2: Circular box type of wheel sets
Finally, the clients choose the type2. And he also asked the size of keyway (22 x 14 x 125) can be in the middle of 263mm. After discussed, our engineers do the adjustment on the drawings. Here is our design drawing:

Fortunately, all things go on well, the client is satisfied with our design and increase the qty from 4 sets to 8 sets. So we start the production of 8 pcs of new type crane wheel groups after got the deposit. It takes about 30days for the production, and the crane wheels were delivered to our clients through sea on Oct 9, 2017. And all of these 8 pcs of wheels are packed in 2 wooden crates.
